The Recovery Force team frequently provides remote data recovery assistance to data recovery professionals all around the world. Recently, our team was able to assist another lab owner in getting a 1TB Seagate (ST1000DM003 1ER162-020 HP51) to identify and fully recovered.
When they had contacted us, they already had one other data recovery professional attempt to assist remotely, with no success. The client was desperate for the data and they were thinking that they’d need to change the heads. In about an hour, our team was able to get the drive to identify and read without the need to change any parts.
It has since been reported back to us that they were made a full clone of the drive for the client and they were able to boot up their system like nothing ever happened.
