Re: Advice needed on recovery option of a Seagate Rosewood
Avoid computer shops at all costs, especially box stores. It sounds to me that there could be a weak head. Even if not, I think you have done all that you can with DIY without it totally dying. You can send to us at Recovery Force or use another data recovery listed at www.datarecoveryprofessionals....

Re: Help - Dell PowerEdge PERC H700 8 physical disk drive array - drive 3 missing
Wow, even Tom's Hardware advice recommends a professional lab to you. I've been banned from their fourms a dozen times because I refute the horrible advice given by people who have no clue or software vendors trying to sucker you into buying a license. Anyway. Re: Long File Paths - Still
It is now 2025 and still no fix. Just tried to select specific files and folders from the Users directory and it is just a complete mess. It is so bad, it is embarrasing. And, sadly, thanks to how MRT updated their map files, using UFS as an alternative isn't working now, too. Honestly, you'd think ...

Re: Seagate Rosewood Families, Headmaps and Preamps
I have Rosewood st1000lm035 1rk172-568 with "alternative" preamp. Others have suggested that if a patient pcb is mounted on a donor drive and it spins up and gives terminal respnse that it will be a suitable donor. My donor is "default" but it spins up the patient drive and give...
