What temperature do you set it to to solder the wires onto the solder balls?
650f.

(650 °F - 32) × 5/9 = 343,333 °C

Re: 128GB SanDisk Monolithic SD Card

Returning to this topic, I'm starting to use the soldering method more and more, on the SD and MSD with distant pads, the tin balls, the lacquered copper wire and the rosin, with a little patience I can do a decent job, but on the MSD with very close pads, it's often a nightmare, suggestions on how...

Re: 128GB SanDisk Monolithic SD Card

I suspect that they will just leave it as is. Datalabs ( Instagram ) came up with their version of a spider board for those who like to use wires rather than the needles. 20241018_100011.jpg Returning to this topic, I'm starting to use the soldering method more and more, on the SD and MSD with dist...

Re: Move NAND from one thumb drive to another?

We were lucky with a 32 GB Lexar CF card. The customer had bought them a few months apart. They were apparently identical. Using PC3K we were able to get a few quality jpgs and a lot of junk. So as a last resort we tried this route and the recovery went very well.

Re: "ECC ERROR IGNORE ON" Enabled... MQ04UBF100

Whit fuction EARR disable, support is more stable, but I have noticed that these MQ04 units have serious compatibility problems when you mount new heads, in fact it happened to me already two or three times, that with new heads, from identical donors, where only the construction period changes the s...

Re: ST2000LM003 - Head Swapping

Hi Luke, have you looked into this theory further? If I have two st2000lm003 with the same pcb, but different preamp, by swapping the pcb, will the preamps work?

Re: UFS Explorer Technician

I have an old My book duo with JMS561 UFS chip, it recognizes it as Raid 1 but does not give me any possibility to transform the filesystem or decrypt the partition, why?

Re: Toshiba MQ04UBD200 compatible Heads compare

The strange thing about these drives is that when you convert them to sata, there is a huge difficulty in reconstructing the partition, folders and files, most of the time you are forced to do a raw recovery because the structure is always partial or non-existent, plus even changing the text set, it...
