Over the years, we have seen a lot of fatal head crashes. In some cases, we encountered what we thought to be fatal head crashes, but even surprised ourselves when we recovered significant amounts of data from those drives. So, it is rare that we see anything new that surprises us when we open a hard drive. We also don’t photograph every drive we open, but do, occasionally photograph what we find to help us better explain to our clients what we have found. Here are a handful of photos we have taken over the past few months that we thought worthy of sharing.
