Several months ago, we posted an article (for fun) on what not to do to recover data. This time around, we are posting the general steps taken by data recovery professionals. Step 1. Analysis – determine the source of the problem Step 2. Stabilization –...
In a recent forum discussion that went on a tangent about the risks of running DIY data recovery programs without properly diagnosing a hard drive, one data recovery specialist had the understanding that if a drive detected and was able to read data, the heads must be...
This is a great group of people. Easy to work with. Very helpful and very knowledgeable. Luke was able to diagnose the issue even before he saw it. And when they received the drive, his suspicion was confirmed. Luckily, they were able to retrieve the data. Turn around time was fantastic too! I had the recovered data back in about a week. Very impressed!
Doug, Anne, Luke, and Bruno did a great job recovering my data. After returning from a trip to Iceland, I transferred all my photos/videos to a hard drive. Weeks later the drive failed so I took it to a local company in Winnipeg. They couldn't recover the data so they recommended Recovery Force.
I am so grateful that I sent my drive to Recovery Force. They recovered 99.99% of my data (including all my engagement photos/video) so I'm incredibly relieved.
The service was amazing. I received calls from Doug Coughey to give me updates and give me a chance to make important decisions about the process of recovering my data. I also received frequent updates via the ticketing system. Anne was sweet and she promptly provided invoices and confirmation of payments.
Recovery Force restored a damaged external hard drive for us that contained significant mission critical data. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and resulted in zero loss to our data managing routines. Many thanks!!
