Western Digital ROYL Series PCB Issues:
Since Western Digital has migrated from the Marvell chipset to the Royl chipset, Recovery Force has noticed a very high percentage of these drives with PCB issues. In such cases that we are able to diagnose the drive with this issue, we are offering a flat rate price of $500 to recover the data.
For MyBook drives setup with a two drive RAID 0 stripe, we will charge $500 if one drive is victim to this issue and $1000 if both drives have the issue.
In the event that your Western Digital hard drive is not in this family or has other issues, we will identify them within our free assessment and will provide a precise quote once the assessment has been completed.
